I am Research Director at the Human Sciences Research Council and am still working on my MSc Epidemiology and hope to become a Chronic Disease Epidemiologist.  I chose to do this degree because I wanted to gain epidemiological knowledge and skills in order to improve own methodological and analytical skills. I am currently applying epidemiological concepts and methods to large scale, multi-year, multi-site policy relevant public health studies that I am leading.  I am privileged to obtain this scholarship as it has enabled me to enrol for MSc Epidemiology in one of the highly respected schools, LSHTM in the world. I would not have afforded to personally pay for this.
