I am pleased to have had the support of ALN to complete a Masters in Public Health focused on health in developing countries at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.  This course has increased my knowledge and understanding of public health issues in developing countries. I have learned about how countries in conflict that have suffered the effects of war face added strain to the health system. I am delighted to have made friends that come from all over the world. I have learned a lot from their different experiences. This degree will strengthen my ability to design and conduct action research and develop my skills in program development, monitoring and evaluation.
