Organisation and governance

The Africa London Nagasaki (ALN) scholarship fund will be managed by its two partners, the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), UK and the Institute of Tropical Medicine (NEKKEN), Nagasaki University, Japan.

Selection committee

The selection committee for the scholarship fund is chaired by Professor Geoffrey Targett (LSHTM) and consists of:

• Two members of staff from each of the partner institutions
• Two experienced African scientists.

Administration

LSHTM will manage the overall budget for the scholarship fund and will provide administrative support for the selection procedure.
